Water Industries, Inc. is a national and international
environmental waste management and water remediation company
that also utilizes a solar radiation system, the R2000 (U.S.
Patent Pending), to destroy organic
contaminants and to
purify ground water, industrial effluents, and aquatic
systems. CWI was
initially formed as a Florida corporation in 1998, to
carry out the finial stages of research and development and
marketing strategy. CWI has
changed to a Nevada corporation as of January 2002. Our mission
is to reverse worldwide water contamination that is destroying
our water supply and insure safe clean water resources for all
mankind. The R2000
is a product of 11 years research and development by Sandia
National Laboratories, National Renewable Energy Laboratory
and
a team of researchers from the University of Florida under
the direction of CWI Director, Dr. Yogi Goswami, and CWI
President Dr.
James F. Klausner in cooperation
with the Solar Energy Research Laboratory of Orlando, Florida.
The company is not a new venture.
Incorporated in 1998, it already holds rights to patented solar
photocatalytic oxidation technology to destroy organic contaminants
in water supplies. The company is led by a Chairman/CEO with nearly
40 years of business, manufacturing, financial, and management
experience. The President is a professor of Mechanical Engineering
at the University, with extensive experience in research and
development of photocatalytic systems. The VP of Sales - Air
Division, has over 40 years of sales and management experience in
the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning industry and is well
known by the nation’s leading home builders. The VP of Sales - Water
Division, with 12 years as a regional manager for a leading national
insurance company, will support him in developing the new home and
retrofit markets. The Board of Directors includes a leading
researcher in the field for over 20 years, and our key inventor of
the protected technology
The solar oxidation facility is a commercialized system that has
been successfully used to purify an aquifer contaminated with
Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl Benzene, and Xylene (BTEX) in an underground
aquifer. The product left no toxic residue that needed to be dealt
with after completing site remediation. It will destroy VOC,
organic bio-chemicals, and e-Coli in city and residential wells,
ponds, lagoons or other water collection/storage facilities designed
to eliminate groundwater contamination through containment without
producing a solid waste by-product that requires removal or
storage. This single fact provides the company with significant
market advantages. The equipment is patent pending, soon to be
patented, has additional proprietary features that are unregistered
secrets and means of better health claims. Our product is cheaper in
price (about half the cost of any competitor) provides faster
gallons per hour throughput, uses less electricity to operate and
can operate in areas where no power is available.
NO TOXIC
RESIDUE, thus no costly environmental dump expense is
required.
Meet some of our Team.
Mr. Larry
V. Presley, Board Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
